I am a Marketing and Communications Specialist and work remotely for a tech company based in New York City. I need a really strong internet connection, so the fibre optics and the broadband infrastructure that Terrace has worked really well for me.

I was born and raised in Terrace. I moved to the City for quite a few years for school and started my career there. When my partner and I decided it was time to start a family, we searched for a place that was a smaller community, a more affordable community, where the real-estate was reasonable and reachable. We wanted a place close to nature. I know the ins and outs of this town and felt that it was a safe and strong community to raise children.

I love the outdoors and I love the gorgeous mountains surrounding the town. There is easy access to the local rivers and lakes and the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. In the winter months we enjoy walks and sledding with our children and in the summer months we spend time enjoying the local lakes swimming to our hearts content.

We take advantage of the programs that are available to children in the community, like the "Strong Start" Program, and the gymnastics “Tickles and Bounces” program. The local recreational centre houses a pool that we visit regularly and the library offers an array of community programs throughout the year. Whatever your children desire, Terrace has it all!

Another great thing about Terrace is that we are the hub for surrounding communities so shopping, restaurants and airline options are abundant. It's a busy little town with friendly people all around.

If you value the outdoors and a small town with a strong sense of community, I would definitely recommend living here.
